December Events at Leycester House
Join us this December as we host not one, not two, but THREE fabulous acts in the lead-up to Christmas.

We’re starting the month’s proceedings off on Thursday 5th December with Poperasops! These two ladies are coming back to Leycester House to dazzle us with their vocal skills, seamlessly blending opera and pop in a fantastic evening performance.

On Thursday 12th December, Marcus is coming back to see us all and we all know how good a show Marcus puts on. Come along and join in the fun!

Our third act of the month and final act of the year is Russell Smith on Thursday 19th December. Russell’s coming to Leycester House to sing the songs of Frank Sinatra, the Rat Pack, Elvis and Buddy Holly, so it’s sure to get us all in the mood for Christmas.

November Events at Leycester House
This November, we have not one, not two, not three but FOUR fabulous events lined up for you all at Leycester House – and we really hope you can join us.

We’re starting things off on Thursday 7th November with a visit from Paulo Pinto, who will be here performing songs from the Rat Pack and Motown, and a whole lot more. It’s sure to be a fantastic night.

Next up is the one and only Dean Thomas, who has dazzled us with his talent a few times now. Dean will be here singing hits from the 1960s for us all, so be sure to come and join in the fun.

Poperasops will be joining us on Thursday 21st November – Poperasops is a talented duo, Victoria and Phillippa, and these two lovely ladies will be here to sing us all sorts of styles from opera to pop!

Last but most certainly not least, we’re welcoming Betsy Harmony back to Leycester House care home in Warwick. Betsy will be singing vintage favourites for us all, including swing, jazz, blues, rock ‘n’ roll and wartime classics.

October Events at Leycester House
We’re incredibly excited for the arrival of October, as we have four fantastic events lined up. Will you be joining us for some top-notch entertainment as the evenings get darker?

We’re starting the month off with Dean Thomas, who is most certainly a Leycester House favourite. Dean’s a wonderful performer and he’ll be singing songs from the Rat Pack and other hits from the 1960s.

Next up is Marcus, another firm favourite here in our home! Marcus always entertains everyone and engages with his audience, so it’s sure to be a great evening.

On 17th October, Bob Gessey will be here! Bob’s going to dazzle us with his voice and guitar, playing the songs of Sinatra, Rat Pack favourites and much more. Bob never fails to put on a show.

Last but not least, Gemma Louise Doyle will be back here at Leycester House! Gemma’s a fantastic singer with a four-octave range, and she has performed in Las Vegas, Europe and London’s West End. Come along for a great evening.

Motivation to Music
Everyone looks forward to Wendy’s weekly visit as when Wendy arrives, it’s time for Motivation to Music! Wendy is absolutely brilliant with all the people who take part in her classes, and she incorporates her reflexology knowledge into all her sessions. Wendy gets creative with the exercises involved, and even balloons are utilised to encourage movement! With some fun music to get everyone in the mood for movement, Motivation to Music always goes down a treat. We can’t wait for Wendy to come back next week!

End of summer BBQ
What better way to end the summer than with beautiful BBQ? We had a brilliant time rounding off the sunny season with all sorts of delicious food and drink, and although the weather wasn’t on our side, it didn’t stop us smiling. It was a fantastic event and it was great to see everyone having so much fun.

Cheese and wine tasting
Last week, we held a brilliant event here at Leycester House, dedicated to cheese and wine! We’re huge fans of both halves of this perfect partnership, so it was a pleasure to hand out all sorts of different cheeses for everyone to try, along with a wide variety of wines from around the world. We’ll most definitely be holding another night like this in the future, so keep an eye out to find out when it might be!

September Events at Leycester House
Well, do we have a great month planned here at Leycester House! September’s going to be great, as we have four fantastic events lined up for you here in our care home in Warwick.

On Thursday 5th September, Marcus is coming to see us all – he never fails to put on a good show, so we can’t wait to welcome him back here at Leycester House.

Next up is Sam Southall on Thursday 12th; Sam’s another Leycester House favourite, singing all sorts of songs that we know and love.

On 19th September, we have a familiar face coming to Leycester House but for the first time ever on a Thursday evening! It’s Tony Sparks, who is well-liked by residents here and is a very talented performer.

Rounding off the month is Richard King, a popular entertainer here at Leycester House in Warwick! We really hope you can join us.

Pottery party
One of our favourite monthly activities is our pottery party! This activity really gets everyone’s creative juices flowing, and residents have the opportunity to showcase their talent. We not only enjoy pottery but also painting and drawing! It’s a great social event and residents love showing off their creations to visiting friends and family members each week.
