Today we travelled to Alrewas in Staffordshire to visit the National Memorial Aboretum. A 150 acre site with some 300 memorials and home to over 30,000 trees. The site is a tribute to those who have served and continue to serve our Country. We took the land train to tour around part of the site and walked part way round. One of the memorials was particularly moving and significant for one of our Residents. Joan was lucky enough to have a ride in the Aboretum's Club Car/Buggy.
