On Tuesday, we went all the way to Moseley for a fabulous day out – we visited the National Trust’s Moseley Old Hall! It’s a beautiful building, an Elizabethan farmhouse with so many stories to tell. In fact, Moseley Old Hall actually saved King Charles II in 1651 after he fled the battle of Worcester; Cromwell’s troops came looking for him but didn’t find him hiding in the priest hole. Everyone found it incredibly interesting learning all about the farmhouse’s rich history.

The gardens are beautiful, including an intricate knot garden, and the café is wonderful. We spent our day looking around the house and gardens, finishing off with a nice lunch in the tearoom.
