Back at the start of July, the Leycester House Choir was created, and we’ve had a fantastic response from our residents. Led by our talented choir leader, Shoshana, rehearsals take place every Tuesday at 2:30pm, and you are more than welcome to join us!

The Leycester House Choir is open to all residents, their family members and friends, and it’s important to say that you really don’t need to be able to sing! We started with ‘Nightingale’ and have now moved onto Christmas songs, so if you fancy feeling festive, please do come and join us. Our practices will culminate with two Christmas choir sessions here at Leycester House for residents’ family members and friends to enjoy – be sure to follow us on Facebook and keep an eye on the news page on our website, as dates will be announced closer to the time.

Shoshana is brilliant with our residents and knows them all by name – she’s a singing and performing arts teacher based in Leamington Spa, currently running two choirs and teaching musical theatre, piano, classical singing and drama in several different settings, alongside owning a performing arts school in Warwick.

In fact, our choir is so popular that even if residents are only staying at Leycester House on a temporary basis and return home, they keep on coming back for choir practice! If you would like to join us, please pop in next Tuesday, and be prepared to leave with a huge smile on your face.
